Spot primer & spray paint on stone tile

How do i paint a mural that does not begin and end at the allocated space but rather starts to take in and become involved with the environment around it? I wanted to create a mural that has nothing to do with its content but rather purely with how that physicality is going to be experienced. Of course, i drew inspiration from the flora and fauna however arbitrary it seems but words serve as a guide to understand my brain a little better.

Diving into the sensibility of the interrelationships and energies passed among the flow of lines and dapple of colours, these elements all working in tandem and sometimes counterpoint. From intersection to separation, the ebb and flow within the self and communities, i often see lifeforms as individual islands coexisting in closeness, affecting small changes with and amongst each other.

From seemingly strange to familiar forms which the eye sees and the imagination connects within micro and macro scales, the mural seeks to invite new interpretations and experiences from the audience and its present surroundings each time, no matter how subtle they may be. Hopefully it’ll grow and age with time
